Olivia Rubin Stylist Pick - Red Rouge Evie

Hi gals , Quick update this week I have finished my college course until next September ,which means I will have more time to dedicate to my blog .I have big plans to come which I will reveal very soon. But for now  I will tell you the fun stuff, I recently entered a facebook competition fro Olivia Rubin who if you haven't heard of  her is a British designer who is famous for her quirky individual print, and has just recently this month launch her affordable S/S 2012 to the high street  Sadly I didn’t win but I created 2 looks I would style with this very cool top.
I adore this beautiful Sardinia top so much I wanted to do a visual lookbook of how I would style this ultra fab piece

I would wear Sardinia with beautiful dark denim Red valentino skinny jeans, my marc Jacobs strawberry bag with either brown boots or sandals to give a casual yet elegant chic look. 50s pin up make up and cream sunglasses to compliment this stunning piece … Ooh la la I can just picture it know!
Love the Peter Pan collar leather look! Its fab would also look great with a cream, ivory maxi skirt and black wedges + chucky gold bangles. The floral red print is stunning, beautiful tailoring

GTI's Fashion Show

Last night ( April 19th)  GTI had its annul Fashion show , showcasing the work of up and coming stylist and designers, hosted by Brenden Courtey presenter of  RTE's  "Off The Rails". The fashion show is produced and run by the courses in GTI including Business Fashion ( which I do), Fashion Industry Practice and media just to name a few at the Meyrick Hotel Galway.

I was lucky enough to get a picture with the fabulous Brendan Courtney.
Amazing Red Dress modeled by the designer , how funny is it that some of the designers chose to wear they own creation even through there was plenty of models available on the night. ...lol

My Favourite spring / summer 12 jewellery

Now that summer is finally here, it was time to raid into my jewellery box.
One of my Favourite bargains I found on the high street was this stunning two tone turquoise gold chain with diamantes. It really is a statement piece, I love wearing it and it helps that its my favourite colour. I found this piece in Warehouse it was 46 euro but I bought for the student friendly price of FIVE euro!!
                                                More then 90% off.

My second favourite piece is the beautiful multi coloured chunky bracelet.
IM SOO IN LOVE with it the colors are just so vibrate, I haven’t worn it yet but I have a feeling it will be a show stopper. I bought it a little vintage shop hidden away in the back of shop street in Galway, near where I go to college. It is 20 euro. I will treasure it forever its one of those pieces if I ever lost it I would die, its so me this bracelet.

Shoes - D&G - € 375 Brown Thomas
Scarf - Alexander McQueen ! - € 185 Brown Thomas
Bow Belt - came with dress

Yves Saint Laurent ... Splurge!

Good afternoon my lovelies hope you all are well & enjoying the much needed Easter break.

These beauties have to be my favourite shoes ever! , when I saw them I knew I had to have them .
I did allot of research before I bought and leopard print was something I was looking for as believe it or not !! I had none in my wardrobe.
These Yves Saint Laurent shoes are just stunning , beautiful pony skin material so soft to the touch. With 6 inch suade heel that would SO give Victoria Beckham a run for her money and truthfully very comfortable to wear but take some time to break in. These babies retailed  @  over 700 euro (crazy money I know sure) on the YSL online site but I bought them in Portobello in Galway which where 500 euro but lucky me payed 350euro so worth it .
I have an occation coming up so they will be fab with a beautiful cream dress I bought recently.

Pictures do not so them justice!

                                                      Beautiful stitching and gold logo

I love it , its was ( for me ) expensive retailing at 350 euro, but one of the best things it can be worn as a to the knee dress ! My Lookbook For Bastyan

Here is a detail description of a look book I did for Bastyan, if your are unfamiliar with the label there is a link below;

Below is a link to the Lookbook:

This is how I wbould style the Bastan  Hobo Bag into my wardrobe.

I love Bastyan spring / summer collection this season. Beautiful key pieces andtailoring in every piece. I would style this beautiful silk ivory blouse with amazing gold trim to the sides with a 50’s style polka dot skirt with layers ofdelicious lace tulle. Accessories wish I would pair with nude pumps to long gae the silhouette, also adding cream sunglasses to the retro look and gold triangular earrings with I am loving at the moment from topshop, giving a very playful look, and not to forget the mus tlust after bag of the season The Hobo Bag .
Foe the second look  Iadore this elegant black number, a twist on the classic LBD and a little nodto the modern Audrey Hepburn. I would style this LBD with a Bastyan snake skineffect skinny belt with this structured & edgy Bastyan benoite biker jacket, crafted from angora wool blend, to keep you warm and cosy. Accessories I would put the beautiful YSL leopard print shoes with this as the heel is beautifully crafted to give an ultra sexy look and bright red lipstick to make all the boyswink..... lol. To complete my look I would style with the luxurious Hobo handbag with has beautiful textured feel with gold metal detailing and faux python piping andhandle.  Iwould love to be the very lucky winner of this amazing piece as I truly adore Ms Tonia Bastyan collection each season. As a fashion student myself it would be thehigh light of my year no skip that life to win the beautiful bag as I have been lusting after for months.
