Review of French Label Manoush

Good Evening All, I want to share with you one of the most AMAZING labels I've ever seen. I get excited to see what each new season brings as there is such creativity, I've loved Manoush  for several years. This quirky French label is produced in Paris.

The brand brings pretty dresses and separates to life with bohemian prints and girly details.
As the pieces are so different and there is great attention to detail , the garments are are on pricey side ranging from €250 upwards.Ssoo start saving your pennys girls.....lol  If your a poor student like me and look for a good deal wait for the sales to pick up one of the gorgeous pieces you will not be disappointed! you'll be sure to be a head turner for all the good reasons.

One of my faves from the new A/W '13 collection is this striking Georgian print dress (right) which I'm drooling over its fab, I love color combination as the lavender over black works well and prints are bang on trend this winter. The full skirt is just amazing ...very high fashion.

Manoush has a huge celebrity & blogger following ...its easy to see why! The french  really know how to design / make clothes!.

Stockiest for the brand Manoush can be found:

What I truly love is the individuality and creativeness that Manoush brings, in a world of fashion where everything is mass produced it is also important to stand out from the crowd & let your personality shine true.

Till Next Time,

Summer Haul

Hey lovelies, I've recently done some much needed shopping. As its sale season it doesn't hurt so bad, and I've picked up some amazing designer gems! First off are these two amazing dresses by  Aussie designer Rachel Gilbert who is best known for her gorgeous red carpet gowns, with celebs such as Pippa O'Connor to name a few. I purchased both pieces from The Ivory Closet a rental & dress hire Boutique in Limerick as they were having their seasonal closet clearance. I was very lucky to snag them at a generously discounted price as they are Brand New!. I cant wait to wear the sliver Milly dress on a night out with the girls very soon.

I'm really in to statement jewelry these days so like a born magpie my eyes did a double take when I spotted this gorgeous green necklace (above) it reminds me of some of the costume jewelry worn on TV series The Tutors.

Just two weeks ago I took my first Holiday away from home to England ( crazy I know) to visit family for a special occasion. Not one for baring too much skin on our rare sunny days in Ireland ( I burn like a peach)
I decided to go out of my comfort zone and purchase a bikini. I found this pretty coral set at River Island online and had it in my cart for ages before I toke the plunge. It is very comfortable piece but at 35 euro eeekk I wont be buying again that said when the bikini top is under water the 3D poppy's blossom and give a beautiful under water sea effect. The only down side that I find with every RL purchase is they never last to long especially after the first wash. :(

Of course it was just my luck that the BT sales AKA Brown Thomas began the same day I was due to leave for London, but throwing caution to the wind I ventured up to Galway city super early in the morning to get in before the rush. I found two lovey piece from the young trendy brand Alice + Olivia.

I love the cute floral print of this first piece with the lilac over lay with burst of neon yellow, burnt orange and pretty blues flowers, personally I'm not a big fan of floral's but this really toke my eye, its very flattery on and nips you in at the waist.
Yesss I have finally caved and bought something on trend ...I know I'm super late but I so adore this white body con peplum dress its just so sexy & flirty and hides any lumps and bumps.

Lastly I am now the proud new owner if my very own Micheal Kors Bag! any one in the fashion world  including the galway gals are aware that these bags are coveted. After stalking the Spring /Summer collection since September its about time I got my hands on one, the RRP 250 but as there was 40% off during this day is was reduce so I was happy out.
Like every women it is always (extremely) difficult to find the Right pair of jeans to flatter your shape and lift does buns. I find what when it comes to jeans it is usually better to invest in a pair you will get wear out of then the cheapies in Primark / Pennys as there an essential for everyday after years of searching in my teens I know what suits me and these pale pink pretty high waist J brand jeans work wonders.

The Journey

Hi guys, here are some pictures of a photoshoot I had to style for college. It was a six page spread and was taken on location in the Hotel Meyrick in Galway. This has to be one of my favorite shoots to date as I really had the opportunity to play around with a few different eras. There are modern 20's, 50's and even 1960's monochrome  which is a huge trend this season and will continue into A/W 2013. Please feel to share your feedback or any enquires about the garments shown.

Till next time

The Tin Foil Dress

Hi Guys, I'd like to share one of my college assignment I had to create and design a piece out of recycled materials. As you can see I used tin foil, a black bin bag and lots of black duck. tape!. My inspiration when designing The Tin Foil dress came from my love of all things girly, hence the tutu skirt and bow!. To add a little edge to the design I was inspired by the Black Swan. When it came to the photography I wanted it to feel very industrial & moody. To complete the look I styled the piece with my trusty Jeffery Campbell spiked litas and sliver accessories from Penny's/Primark.
